A Level Geography: Preparing Students for Paper 3 Synoptic Investigation

This online event is intended to support teachers who are delivering Pearson Edexcel A Level Geography specification.
The trainer will be covering the synoptic themes, the Paper 3 exam structure and guidance on the assessment requirements.
You will:
• review the synoptic themes and the Paper 3 exam structure including question types, command words and mark schemes
• explore the skills needed for the resource booklet about a contemporary, place based geographical issue
• discover strategies for preparing your students for the 18-mark and 24-mark ‘evaluate’ questions and demonstrating synoptic thinking
• reflect on marked scripts from the 2024 A Level Paper 3 exam.

A recording of the event will be available to attendees within three days of the event.
This event counts as 1.5 hours of CPD. You will receive an e-certificate by email, post attendance.
