This event is for teachers who are delivering the Pearson Edexcel A level Music Qualification. During the session, delegates will: 

• review the assessment criteria for Questions 5 and 6 in the appraising paper 
• look at examples of assessment materials 
• explore strategies for preparing students to tackle each type of essay question 
• carry out a marking exercise on new exemplar essays 
• be able to ask our experienced trainer questions about the appraising component.
