A series of live webinars to support leads and teachers in reception classes in maintained schools and academies.
The Revised Early Years Foundation Stage became statutory in September 2021. To support the implementation of this, Pearson is working in partnership with Babcock Learning and Development Early Years Team offering a series of virtual training events in November 2021. These events will aim to ensure schools and settings are building on the initial implementation of the EYFS reforms and bring together key messages from the D of E and Ofsted to enable EYFS practitioners to implement these changes.
These sessions will be delivered by Babcock Learning and Development Partnership (LDP) Early Years Team who have a breadth of experience and knowledge in terms of supporting EYFS practitioners to provide high quality EYFS practice and have provided sessions to over 6000 EYFS practitioners during the summer term.
Session 1: The EYFS Reforms and Introduction to the Educational Programmes (1.5 hours with additional time for Q&A)
Session 2: Crafting your Curriculum - The New Development Matters Explained (2 hours)
Session 3: EYFS Reforms: Making Assessment Work in Reception Classes (2 hours)
