A Level History: Coursework Marking Training
Our new self-paced training courses allow you to work through the training in your own time. You can also pick and choose certain elements to explore rather than working your way through the whole course; the choice is yours!
This self-paced training course, created by the Pearson Edexcel History team, is designed to support teachers in delivering our A Level qualification. The training is structured to help you gain a deeper understanding of the assessment requirements and the application of a levels-based mark scheme. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to apply the skills you’ve acquired by evaluating exemplar coursework.
After completing this course you will:
- understand the coursework requirements
- understand coursework topic selection and question framework
- understand how to administer and assess student coursework
- understand how to apply the generic levels-based mark scheme
- have considered ‘good practice’ and know how to avoid common ‘pit falls’.
