This free online event, delivered by one of our MFL credible specialists, supports teachers delivering Pearson Edexcel A Level Modern Languages (French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Russian). The training covers the speaking element of the qualification.

You will:
• review the speaking requirements in the specification
• explore the role of the teacher-examiner in conducting the speaking assessment
• understand the must and must nots when conducting speaking assessments
• discuss ways to encourage spontaneous speaking within the oral
• listen to exemplars to understand good practice
• explore the full range of Pearson Edexcel support available.

Please note: A recording of the event will be available to attendees within three days of the event. We will also be releasing a copy on the YouTube playlist for the qualification, accessible via the Professional Development Academy, later in the term.

This event counts as 2 hours of CPD. You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
