This training has been developed for teachers and schools using our PYP Readers. This course will focus on the resource itself and how to effectively and confidently use the resources in the classroom. Teachers will also understand the importance of reading comprehension and explore the ways in which they can support the development comprehension and overcome challenges by using PYP Readers.

Delegates by the end of the course, will:
• Consider the key principles in using questioning to develop inquiry based learning
• Investigate the problems learners have with reading comprehension
• Understand the value of reading for pleasure in improving reading in all subjects
• Be able to apply strategies to develop inquiry based reading using the PYP readers and companions.
