Exploring Kneehigh: Teacher Workshops with Mike Shepherd (Liverpool)

This free face-to-face training event in Liverpool will be delivered by former artistic director of Kneehigh Theatre Company, Mike Shepherd.
The training event will provide an opportunity for drama teachers to explore the vast palette of Kneehigh’s techniques aligned with Pearson’s Drama and Performing Arts qualifications.
The workshops will aim to:
• give teachers the knowledge, skills and confidence to apply the working methodologies of Kneehigh within a practical context for GCSE and A Level Pearson Edexcel specifications
• provide high-quality CPD for teachers in making work accessible to students of all abilities and interests (with embedded references to music, dance, design and direction/devising/adapting rather than just acting)
• provide opportunities for learning and experience for teachers of all levels of experience, including ECTs, experienced teachers and trainees.
Please note: registration for this event will close two weeks before the scheduled event date. This event counts as 3 hours of CPD and you will receive a certificate on completion of the training.
Learning outcomes
