GCSE Business: New to Pearson Edexcel

This is a repeat of the autumn 2025 event. This free online training supports teachers delivering Pearson Edexcel GCSE Business. This session is designed for those moving to Pearson Edexcel or for those teaching the specification for the first time.
You will:
• consider the structure, content and assessment of the specifications and the support available
• review the new content in the specifications and exam techniques
• explore the mark schemes
• explore possible teaching and delivery strategies.
About the trainer
Robin Babbage is Head of the Business Information Technology Education (BITE) Faculty at Hamstead Hall Academy, with over 26 years’ experience in education. He has led departments and faculties across Business, Economics, Computing and IT, where he has developed a strong culture of academic excellence and innovation. Robin is an active practitioner and currently serves as an Assistant Principal Examiner for Pearson GCSE Business (9–1), a role he has held for over 12 years. A specialist in educational technology, Robin has led national iPad projects across the UK and Europe and previously managed an Apple Regional Training Centre. His contribution to enterprise education was recognised with a national award for Most Enterprising Teacher.

You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
