This free online training, delivered by one of our D&T specialists, supports teachers delivering Pearson Edexcel GCSE Design and Technology. The training is designed to build confidence in using the specification, delivery guide, and assessment criteria, and will support you in strengthening your understanding of effective NEA delivery and assessment for GCSE Design and Technology.

You will:

• explore the delivery, assessment, and post-summer 2026 analysis of the NEA
• look at how the assessment grids are applied to ensure consistent standards across centres
• review exemplar work and see clearly how marks have been awarded in practice
• have the opportunity to network with other D&T teachers, share ideas, and discuss approaches to delivery and assessment.

This training will run three times during the Autumn term, giving you flexibility to join at a time that suits you.

Please note: A recording of the event will be accessible exclusively to attendees within three days following the event. We will also be releasing a copy on our YouTube channel, accessible via the Professional Development Academy, later in the term. This event counts as 1.5 hours of CPD. You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
