This live online author talk aims to support teachers who are considering teaching Coram Boy for Pearson Edexcel GCSE English Literature.

Jamila Gavin, author of Coram Boy, and Sarah Shaffi, journalist, editor and literary critic, will discuss the characters, plot, and themes of the book, enriching teachers’ understanding of the text to give them the confidence to teach it in the classroom. Those joining live will be able to ask questions directly to the author.

Please note: A recording of the event will be available to attendees within three days of the event. We will also be releasing a copy on our YouTube channel, accessible via the Professional Development Academy, later in the term.
