18 November 2025 at 16:00-17:00 GMT
This free online event, delivered by our Maths Subject Advisor Vicky Wood, supports teachers delivering Pearson Edexcel GCSE Maths.
The training covers ways to support your high-attaining students to access the most challenging problem-solving questions targeting grades 8 and 9.
You will:
• look at the key questions from prior series that differentiated the grade 9 candidates
• provide practical teaching tips to use within the classroom
• identify activities and resources to provide additional stretch and challenge.
To help make the session as useful as possible, please submit any questions or suggestions you may have by clicking on this link: https://forms.office.com/r/tK2trnuCzS
This form will be open until 04/11/25.
Please note: a recording of the event will be available to attendees only within three days of the event. Subsequently, the recording will be added to the qualification website, secured behind a padlock, later in the term.
This event counts as 1 hour of CPD. You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
