Mastering Marking in International A Level Arabic

This online training is designed for teachers who are delivering the Pearson Edexcel International A Level Arabic specification.
This training will give an understanding of how assessments are structured, will provide an insight into the process behind the writing of the examination papers and Mark Schemes.
The main focus of this training session will be applying the mark schemes to student exemplars from the most recent examination series.
This session will also look at how you can use your most recent student exam results and data to adapt your teaching ensuring your students maximise their potential.
In this training, delegates will:
• Be introduced to the writing process of the Pearson Edexcel Examination Papers and Mark Schemes.
• Analyse the recent 2025 May/June Examination Papers and consider how questions have been answered by looking at Examiner Feedback.
• Understand how to apply mark schemes to student answers from the 2025 May/June Examination series.
• How to adapt your teaching using examination data to ensure students maximise their potential.
• Review the support Pearson offers.
• Discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.
There is a self-study component of this specification, the link to this module will be made available in the run up to the event and will be available after the event.
This training counts as 3 hours of CPD.
You will receive an e-certificate and a digital badge after the session via email.
