This online training is designed for teachers who are delivering the Pearson International GCSE English Language A Modular specification.
This training will focus on the teaching of the course and will give you an understanding of the content of the qualification and how to cover it and how to plan the course, with a more detailed look at how assessments are structured.

In this training, delegates will;
• Explore the content of the qualification and how to plan the course,
•Identify how the qualification is devised and fundamental documentation,
•Review the content of the qualification,
•Explore how to plan the course and/or lessons,
•Understand the assessment of the qualification and how to prepare students,
• Review the support Pearson offers,
• Discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.

This training counts as 2 hours of CPD.
You will receive an e-certificate by email, post attendance.

A recording of this training will be made available as a self-study course on the Pearson Professional Development Platform 2 weeks after the live event, access to this can be found via the Pearson PD Academy.
