Switching from GCSE Design and Technology to GCSE Art and Design

This face-to-face event will support centres considering a move from offering GCSE Design and Technology to learning pathways through endorsed titles in GCSE Art and Design. Delegates will attend sessions covering the following content:
• understanding fundamental differences/similarities between the two qualifications and assessing whether the switch is appropriate for your context/learners
• exploring key differences between assessment models and how adjustments can be made in course design/delivery to support students meeting the Art and Design assessment criteria.
• evaluating exemplar materials and applying assessment criteria in GCSE Art and Design
• open Q&A.
Registration will close 1 week before the event date.
Lunch will be provided at this event.
This event counts as 5 hours of CPD. You will receive an e-certificate by email, post attendance.
